I wrote the lyrics for Wondering during a time in my life when I was experiencing the pain of my first teenage heartbreak. Strangely enough, I always think of durian when I remember that period - a specific memory of a dear old friend who came by my block to comfort me, bringing my favourite fruit as I cried and whined for hours. It made me realise that the cure for a broken heart often lies in the company of people you can rely on… and sometimes, through the stomach too.
